Stone Fabricator/Installer MTTS Granite and Marble Waco, TX Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication English Forklift Driver's License Construction Materials handling Load & unload Full Job Description Employee will be responsible for all aspects of countertop production and installation — from templating and fabrication to final installation on-site. This position involves operating CNC and hand tools, polishing stone surfaces, programming fabrication equipment, moving and setting slabs, and ensuring accurate and clean installations.
Key Responsibilities Fabrication:
Operate and program CNC saws, waterjets, and polishing machines (e.g., Park Industries Titan, Saberjet, etc.). Cut, shape, edge, and polish granite, quartz, and other stone materials according to project specifications. Perform manual polishing and finishing as needed for quality detailing. Move and position slabs safely using material handling equipment (e.g., cranes, suction lifts, forklifts). Inspect completed pieces for accuracy, quality, and finish consistency.
Installation:
Load, transport, and install granite countertops at job sites. Ensure proper fit, seam alignment, and secure attachment during installation. Apply caulking, sealants, and adhesives as required. Communicate professionally with customers on-site to ensure satisfaction. Measuring/Templating (if applicable): Accurately measure and template jobs using digital or manual methods. Review job details and ensure templates are complete and ready for fabrication.
Other:
Experience in handling stone/tile and/or construction preferred. Willing to provide training. Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. Must have reliable transportation. Valid driver's license required. Salary contingent on experience.
