Job Description
Job description We are searching for individuals that are interested in working in a small business manufacturing environment. We will train them on the position.
Job Duties:
- Removing flash from molded parts using sharp knives and scissors
- Bonding fabrics or other materials to rubber part using hand and finger pressure.
- Cutting parts to size.
- Placing parts in holding fixture for trimming process
- Cleaning part with solvent, immersing in water to cool, wrapping part in plastic, testing for leaks under water with air pressure or vacuum.
- Removing adhesive with wire brush or cloth.
- Verifying part dimensions with inspection devices.
- Completes required production documents and records.
- Reviews own work for completeness and quality workmanship.
- Follows established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain the quality of the work environment.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned.
- Experience in the following are a bonus: Textiles, composites, sewing, urethane casting, and other experience that requires intricacy/dexterity.
