Job Description
Position summary: Will work on a variety of different commercial projects from new construction, renovations to remodels. Work to include metal/wood stud framing, drywall installation, finishing, ACT work and other tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, trustworthy, and organized
- Basic Mathematical skills required (adding, subtracting, multiplying, division, fractions, percentages, etc.)
- Must know how to take measurements
- Must know how to cut material to accurate lengths and widths
- Must know how to read blueprints, plans and specifications
- Must be able to follow directions
Knowledge and Experience:
- Must have Construction field experience
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be able to communicate and work well with subcontractors, and other team members
- Must be able to attach drywall to metal or wood stud framework
- Must be able to finish drywall and ensure no gaps or cracking
- Must be able to install blocking flush into metal or wood studs in the proper locations
- Must be able to safely use hand and power tools
