Medalcraft's employees enjoy a First-Shift, climate-controlled environment with a newly upgraded dust collection system for a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable work environment. Finishing and Polishing are critical roles in the beauty and quality of Medalcraft's finished product. The Finishing role focuses on darkening and surface treatment processes such as antiquing, brushing, sandblasting, welding pins or backs, and applying lacquer. The Polishing role focuses on cleaning, buffing, stripping, and polishing products to achieve the required surface finish and final gloss. Both roles require reading and interpreting work orders, following detailed instructions, collaborating with the production team, and maintaining high quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Both positions require strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain clean and organized workspaces while adhering to OSHA and PPE requirements. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior manufacturing, finishing, or polishing experience helpful but not required. Employees will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and rotating equipment and must be able to lift materials throughout the day, stand or sit for extended periods, and apply consistent pressure during finishing and polishing tasks. Equipment used includes rotating tubs, buffing and polishing/finishing wheels, welders, racks, sinks, air sprayers, protective gear, and finishing tools. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 6am - 2pm We offer on the job training, with both overtime and advancement opportunities available!
