DIRECT HIRE
(not temp to hire) 1st Shift Foundry Utility Assist with the pouring team to work safely Learn/perform operations of the foundry Load/unload molds from ovens Work with molds to prep Documentation of work performed Quality checks to conform to specs Use overhead crane to move metal parts Melter Operate furnaces to melt metals to temperature/customer specs Prepare materials, melt metal, take samples and calculate adjustments Monitor furnace controls and clean Use lab instruments Maintain records for materials and work performed
Qualifications:
For both positions, prior experience working in hot conditions, ideally in a foundry setting Ability to work a very early shift, starting at 4:00 am Read, interpret and follow work instructions Strong prioritizing skills Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Safety first attitude and work ethic #IND3
