What You'll Do As a Food Service Refrigeration Technician, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial refrigeration and food service equipment at customer facilities.

Responsibilities include:

Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems Service walk-in coolers and freezers Service reach-in refrigerators and freezers Service commercial ice machines Service commercial kitchen equipment including: Fryers Grills Ovens Steamers Warmers Hot holding equipment Perform preventive maintenance inspections on restaurant refrigeration and culinary equipment Install replacement culinary equipment and components Accurately troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and gas systems in commercial kitchens Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and make recommendations Complete digital service reports and work orders and document all work as required Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety policies Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service Follow all EPA guidelines while performing work

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience servicing commercial refrigeration and/or food service equipment Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with commercial kitchen equipment Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls, gas systems, and mechanical components EPA Universal Certification (preferred) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, and in commercial kitchens CFESA certification and factory training are a plus Preferred Experience Experience servicing equipment from manufacturers such as: True Hoshizaki Manitowoc Scotsman Turbo Air Traulsen Delfield Vulcan Garland Southbend Frymaster Rational Cleveland Hobart Heatcraft Trenton Why Georgia Mechanical?
