Job Description

About the Role As a Seed Treatment Specialist, you will play a vital role in our final production phase by ensuring high-quality protective coatings are applied to seed corn. You will utilize automated systems to manage chemical applications, directly impacting the integrity and performance of our agricultural products before they reach the customer. Responsibilities Manage automated seed-treating systems to apply precise fungicide and insecticide coatings to processed seed. Execute accurate chemical mixing procedures while strictly adhering to safety protocols and label instructions. Maintain operational excellence by monitoring system performance and product quality during the final treatment stage. Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure continuous production flow. Operate effectively within a vertical treatment tower environment, maintaining comfort with working at heights. Handle materials weighing up to 60 lbs as part of standard production workflows. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace to uphold rigorous safety and environmental standards. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in chemical handling, mixing, or agricultural application. Basic computer proficiency for system monitoring and data entry. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 60 lbs and working at heights. Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment. Preferred Skills Background in industrial chemical handling, pest control, or fertilizer blending. Previous experience in an agricultural or seed production environment. Mechanical aptitude or experience with industrial equipment maintenance.
