EXAMINATION IS ANNOUNCED TO ESTABLISH AN EMPLOYMENT LIST TO FILL FOUR
(4)CURRENT FULL-TIME WEST JEFFERSON VACANCIES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF JEFFERSON COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAMS.
This employment list will also be used for futureEAST AND WEST
Jefferson vacancies in various Departments as they occur.The purpose of this position is to prepare and serve all food as assigned by the Food Service Manager or Dietician (or Food Service Technician II in absence of Food Service Manager or Dietician) in compliance with sanitation procedures. This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, baking and serving meals and snacks in an institutional kitchen, working from a prepared menu and established recipes. Work is subject to review by means of inspection of the kitchen, quality of food served, and analysis of food costs. Work is performed under close supervision of the Food Service Technician II II and Food Service Manager. Operates standard cooking equipment such as mixers, steam cookers, food choppers, ovens, and ranges. Performs various cleaning duties to include: dishes and utensils, floors, refrigerators, and other equipment, storeroom, eat in areas, etc...
