Job Description

Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
Follow company biosecurity practices. Prepares environmental swabs. Completes pest control inspections. Prepare Eggland's Best (EB) sample submittals. Participates in facility and housekeeping inspections. Conduct yolk color analysis and record for EB eggs. Perform one hundred egg inspections at assigned site including nest runs, finished goods. Enter data into spreadsheets. Provides feedback to the site Manager regarding egg evaluation results. Performs equipment calibrations; this includes but not limited to thermometers, pH sensors, etc. Learns & applies Redzone and Safey Chain data recording and management systems. Perform and record titration comparisons - chlorine, water hardness, OW151, etc. Accurately monitor and record company CCP's & CP's including glass, brittle items, wash water temperature, pH, cooler temperature, humidity, daily run times, scale calibrations, midshifts, GMP's, product identification tags, product and silo temperature, etc. Perform and record simple corrective actions. Perform and record pre-operational inspection as needed. Maintains professional communication with supervisors and managers. Special assignments & other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age. Previous experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine , birds or cattle
Physical Demands:
Work in an office, processing or production location. The ability to stand for long periods of time is required. Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least up to 25lbs routinely throughout the day.
