Agricultural Service Technician

Overview Agricultural Technician We service agricultural and construction equipment, performing everything from routine maintenance to major engine and transmission overhauls. Our shop is equipped with up-to-date diagnostic software, technical repair manuals, and a climate-controlled work environment. Facilities include overhead cranes, jib booms, a diesel exhaust system, and a full machine shop. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on agricultural and construction equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system issues Repair or replace faulty components across a variety of equipment Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems Order necessary parts and manage repairs using an online shop management system Accurately track time, repairs, and parts inventory Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications Basic to advanced knowledge of diesel repair and/or heavy equipment Understanding of hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems Experience with computerized diagnostic tools Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Experience with welding, brazing, and fabrication is a plus

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
