Job Description

Plains Grain & Agronomy Cooperative (PGAg) is seeking self-motivated, trustworthy, detailed oriented, skilled individuals to serve as a trusted advisor to growers by combining agronomy sales expertise with precision agriculture technology and equipment support. This position is responsible for developing customer relationships, promoting agronomic products and services, and providing technical support for precision equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist with daily agronomy operations including loading, unloading, inventory handling, product deliveries, facility maintenance, and operational support. Assist customers with planter startup, setup, calibration and troubleshooting. Identify customer needs and recommend agronomic and precision solutions that improve performance and efficiency. Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-season and post-season planter inspections and recommendations. Assist with service quotes, work orders, and follow-up communication. Provide technical support to growers during planting and application season. Deliver excellent customers service while representing the company professionally. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to lift 50lbs. Knowledge of agronomy operations and precision agriculture technology preferred. Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Skills / Experience / Certifications A.S. Degree in Agricultural field or equivalent experience. Sales background preferred. Experience in Agvance, JD Operation Center, Kahler Automation Software, etc.
