We achieve this by maintaining strong food safety systems, consistent manufacturing processes, and a culture focused on continuous improvement and accountability. About the role We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician (3rd Shift) to support food safety and quality operations. This role is responsible for performing sampling, testing, inspections, and verification activities to ensure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in monitoring production processes, verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs), and supporting internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update quality records within the QA module of the company ERP system. Sample and inspect incoming labels and sleeves for production approval. Perform line clearances and routine line checks to ensure food and product safety. Conduct daily sampling and inspection of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods. Monitor plant operations for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Perform analytical testing in accordance with established laboratory procedures. Conduct environmental and microbiological swabbing as required. Assist with internal Food Safety and HACCP audits. Support customer and third-party audits. Perform ATP swabbing during production start-ups and changeovers. Assist with Quality Assurance training when needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company QA policies. Collect, retain, and ship samples to customers or external laboratories as required. Calibrate laboratory equipment including pH meters, refractometers, thermometers, scales, and ATP meters. Perform additional QA-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing (quality experience preferred). Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on 3rd shift. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
