Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Counter Help associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will shine! In this vital role, you'll be the friendly face greeting customers, assisting with food and beverage orders, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service at the counter Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality standards and food safety guidelines are met Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Make wraps, salads, sandwiches, and panninis. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including bussing tables and food handling Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed to ensure timely service Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and health regulations Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude Ability to perform food preparation tasks and handle food safely in accordance with industry standards Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, serving, bussing, and food safety regulations Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; retail or grocery store background is a plus Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating memorable experiences for our customers!
