Hours Weekly Schedules Available:

Food QC Technician Position Description:

• Conduct inspections of all food production areas
• Participate in maintaining sample retention library for frozen and refrigerated products
• Perform finished product weight checks and ATP swabbing
• Ensure proper storage procedures are followed (allergens, proper closure, etc)
• Monitor GMPs and "use by dates"
• Maintain records of temperature checks
• Conduct verification checks of labels on packaging lines to ensure that they are correct
• Comply and promote all company and safety policies and procedures

Food QC Technician Qualifications Summary:

• Experience in the food production / manufacturing industry preferred or food handling / cooking experience in a restaurant required
• Exposure to USDA food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards a plus
• ServSafe Training an asset
• Excellent attention to detail
