Job Description

Deer Park School District $ 414 In-District Only
POSITION
Summer Food Service 3 open positions (Including Food Service substitutes) Summer Food Service Site Monitor/Manager (Lead Position) Up to 8 hrs/day, with supervisor approval
  • 4 days a week,(Monday-Thursday) $18.13 per hour
  • One position Open Summer Food Site Monitor Up to 6 hours/day, with supervisor approval
  • 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday)
  • $17.13 per hour
  • one position Open Summer Food Site Monitor Up to 6 hours/day, with supervisor approval
  • 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday Only
  • $17.13 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES
: Prepares food within the established production system as assigned by the menus/recipes provided. Must be able to follow oral and written directions Stock, portion, and serve food in a neat and sanitary manner Report any quality or recipe design issues to the manager Works well within the team environment Handle food according to proper sanitation regulations and follow safety standards. Use and knowledge of personal protective equipment, i.e., goggles, gloves, cut-resistant gloves, and/or any other provided safety equipment. Prepare and distribute food under the direction of the Food Service Manager Site Monitor/Manager will be responsible for summer food service record-keeping

  • August 21, 2026
  • No Service on June 19 and July 4th
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required Food Handler's permit required Summer Food Service experience preferred Valid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record. Maintains a positive, motivating, and caring attitude Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
