At Semex, we demand the best of ourselves, our company and what we do for our customers. We are seeking an AI Technician for our Fond Du Lac and Green Bay, WI territories. This position is ultimately responsible for building and maintaining the given territory's customer base for arm service in addition to the sale of semen and supplies.

What You Will Do:

Heat detection and breeding of cows (Large Dairies), using Semex semen whenever possible. Follow breeding program protocols and heat detection methods agreed upon between the dairymen and Semex. Actively sell Semex semen and programs to new and existing breeding accounts, including soliciting new herds to breed. Territory Management; work closely with Semex Sales Representatives to ensure excellent product support. Maintain accurate records including the completion and submittal of invoices, inventory status and various reports weekly. Keep customer data current, submitting sales transactions timely and maintaining successful collection of customer accounts. Participate in Company meetings, training programs and other duties as assigned. What You Need to

Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field. Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience, ideally in the agriculture industry. Excellent business communication and negotiation skills with an aggressive value-added selling & marketing approach and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of customers. Keen attention to detail and demonstrated knowledge of the A.I. industry, especially dairy and livestock care. Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills.
