Job Description

At James and James Furniture - Heber Springs, the Woodshop Product Technician is responsible for custom furniture components and assisting to prepare products for production, assembly and shipment. This role ensures each piece meets quality standards and is properly prepared at each stage or preparation to arrive safely to our customers.
What You'll Do:
Assemble furniture components according to production specifications. Prepare products as instructed and assist in other areas as assigned by mentor Inspect finished pieces for quality, defects, or damage. Wrap, cushion, and package furniture using appropriate materials. Prepare and label products for shipment. Stage packaged items for pickup or transport. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Follow production schedules and shipping deadlines. Work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Detail-oriented with pride in quality craftsmanship. Comfortable using basic hand tools and working with furniture components. Team player with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, assembly, or packaging experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Ability to follow instructions and meet quality standards consistently.
General Requirements:
Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime when needed.
