Shop Tech - Overlanding Upfitter

Join our team at Rhino Adventure Gear, a leading overlanding and off-road vehicle upfitter, where adventure meets craftsmanship! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Tech. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflow, on-time completion of vehicle upfitting projects, as well as great communication and customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Completion of custom electrical and mechanical installations for vehicle upfitting. Assembly and installation of various systems for overlanding builds. Maintain a clean and organized shop workspace. Dispose of packaging materials and waste properly. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers. Interact with Customers in a positive and professional manner.

Position Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years in an technical automotive role or comparable work experience in a dynamic work environment. Van builder or offroad shop experience is great. A minimum of 3 years' experience with 12 Volt automotive systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a shop setting. Clean driving record Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform builds with a high quality of aesthetic end-product. Humility and positive attitude. Reading comprehension and ability to read, understand, and follow product literature and manuals. Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from others. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask. Passion for off-roading, overlanding, or vehicle customization. Please list relevant work experience in your resume or cover letter.
