Position Summary:

The primary duty of a Floor Assistant is to directly assist the store manager and assist with store operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Unloading trucks Assembling and placing furniture on showroom floor Loading furniture into customers vehicles Overall upkeep and cleanliness of store including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash cans, painting Experience/Qualifications Must be able to work weekends Physically be able to lift and manage furniture weighing 100 lbs and more Excellent problem solving skills Customer service skills Ability to safely lift and move furniture in the store, including assisting with loading and unloading products from delivery trucks and into customer vehicles as necessary Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
