Position Overview As a Cosmetic Repair Associate, you play a vital role in ensuring every CarMax vehicle meets our quality standards. In this position, you'll perform Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), cosmetic wheel restoration, and a variety of interior cosmetic repairs during the reconditioning process. Your expertise will cover fabric, vinyl, leather, plastic, and carpet repairs, including dye and color-matching techniques. Role Responsibilities Perform advanced cosmetic repairs including Paintless Dent Removal (PDR), wheel refinishing, and interior restoration to meet CarMax standards Execute standardized processes and follow detailed work instructions for consistent quality Remove and replace vehicle parts as needed during reconditioning Deliver exceptional service to internal teams and external customers Ensure all vehicles meet CarMax quality and safety requirements Complete additional tasks as assigned by management Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Required Qualifications Completion of New Associate Orientation Training - Operations Ability to meet performance and workstation certification standards Strong attention to detail for data interpretation and record accuracy Capable of performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor/outdoor conditions, including inclement weather Effective communication skills for customer and team interactions Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour shifts About CarMax At CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process.
