Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a customer-focused White Glove Delivery & Furniture Assembly Specialist to provide exceptional in-home delivery, assembly, and installation services. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering a premium customer experience by professionally assembling furniture, particularly sofas and upholstered products, while ensuring every customer receives outstanding service from arrival to completion. Key Responsibilities Perform white glove delivery services, including careful handling, placement, assembly, and setup of furniture in customers' homes. Assemble sofas and other furniture products according to manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Provide a professional, courteous, and high-level customer service experience during every delivery and installation. Inspect products before and after assembly to ensure quality standards are met and report any damage or defects. Protect customers' homes by using appropriate floor and furniture protection during delivery and assembly. Remove and dispose of packaging materials, leaving the customer's home clean and organized. Travel to customer locations as scheduled and maintain punctuality for appointments. Participate in company training programs, including travel when required, to maintain product knowledge and assembly techniques. Assist with showroom setup, furniture assembly, merchandising, and customer support as needed. Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and safe condition. Follow all company safety procedures and policies. Qualifications Previous experience in furniture assembly, white glove delivery, or a related field preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to assemble furniture efficiently and accurately. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift and move heavy furniture safely (up to 100 lbs. with assistance). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if driving company vehicles). Willingness to travel for training and occasional business needs. Flexible to assist in the showroom when required. Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a premium customer experience. Preferred Skills Experience assembling sofas and upholstered furniture. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to various home environments. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is committed to delivering a premium white glove experience with every delivery and assembly.

$20.00 per hour
