The Opportunity The Workplace Interior Technician supports the Interiors team through the execution of Move, Add, Change (MAC) activities and day-to-day workplace service requests. This role performs hands-on work including minor furniture repairs, ergonomic adjustments, small office moves, and workspace setups while helping maintain a safe, functional, and well-presented office environment. Work requests are received through ServiceNow and through coordination with Interior Project Managers and other internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Execute Move, Add, Change (MAC) activities including workstation reconfigurations and small moves. Respond to requests via ServiceNow and direct input from Interior Project Managers. Perform chair adjustments and minor repairs; coordinate vendor repairs as needed. Install and adjust monitor arms, keyboard trays, and ergonomic accessories. Conduct ergonomic adjustments and support workstation optimization. Conduct routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify safety hazards and ensure workspace quality. Support workspace setup for offices, conference rooms, and collaboration areas. Document and close tickets accurately in ServiceNow. Coordinate with Interiors, Facilities, IT, and vendors. Management Responsibilities Individual ContributorPreferred Qualifications Experience with workplace furniture systems is preferred. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to workplace quality and safety. Ability to manage multiple requests, organize work effectively, and meet deadlines. Practical problem-solving skills with a proactive and service-oriented approach. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and workplace stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of related experience in facilities, workplace services, furniture installation, or a similar support role. Ability to use basic hand tools and perform minor furniture or workplace-related repairs. Strong customer service, communication, and organization skills. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. Work Environment/Physical Demands Must be able to lift, move, and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds. Role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and other physical activity associated with workplace support tasks.
