Job Description

The water spider is responsible for organizing work parts for the specific work center employees/cells. Includes uph, cutting, finish, hand sand water spiders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
(Include Safety and Environmental, Quality, and Job Specific Roles and Responsibilities) Coordinate the completion of the daily work schedule through the appropriate work center(s) Track inventory where needed Coordinate recuts where appropriate Provide feedback to supervisors of the opportunities that exist what would prevent the completion of the daily schedule (i.e. parts outage, quality issues…) Keep the supervisor(s) updated on the status of the execution of the production schedule periodically throughout the day. Communicate with the employees in the work center(s) regarding the daily production schedule. Perform the duties in compliance with and as outlined in the work instructions in the Quality Management System Document necessary information Keep work space and equipment clean and well organized. Perform proper preventive maintenance as required on any equipment being used. Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Identify nonconformities and follow nonconforming product procedures and be aware of disposition authority. Identify and measure local performance measurements in support of our Business Plan. Support the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball International and National Office Furniture. Follow and support the Quality system. Performs job rotation as directed. Support our Environmental Management System (EMS).

Qualifications:
Educational Able to write legibly Able to read and comprehend required documents. Able to accomplish required math Minimum of 4 weeks on the job training
