The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and installation of various types of furniture in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Furniture Installer will ensure that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. Utilize tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, to ensure proper assembly and functionality of electrical components when applicable. Inspect finished installations for quality assurance, ensuring all pieces are securely assembled and functioning correctly. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for after each job. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, providing solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with team members to improve installation processes and enhance overall efficiency. Experience Previous experience in furniture installation or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills is advantageous. Experience using an ohmmeter is a plus, as it may be required for specific installations involving electrical components. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

• We are an office furniture company seeking a mover or mover's helper with professoinal experience moving furniture in a commercial setting, to join our team on a part time basis, with availability to work on projects from time to time.

The projects typically last one day or less, and ocassionally multiple days, subject to your availability. As a Furniture Mover, you will be responsible for disassembly of desks, cubicles and other furniture items and wrapping, moving and loading furniture as needed. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully disassembly furniture without damaging furniture components
• Wrap furniture with blanket, cardboard, plastic and other materials
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to disassemble furniture
• Move furniture pieces as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience with moving and assembly/disassembly of office furniture
• Familiarity with different types of furniture and components
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
