In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient installation, assembly, and setup of office furniture and fixtures across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Responsibilities Carefully read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and installation instructions to ensure precise setup of office furniture and fixtures Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble desks, cubicles, shelving units, conference tables, and other office furnishings Install fixtures such as lighting, electrical components, cabinetry, and hardware according to safety standards and client requirements Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture pieces while adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with project managers and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address on-site challenges promptly Conduct quality checks post-installation to verify stability, alignment, and overall appearance of the setup Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installations to ensure safety and efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry, trim carpentry, or frame carpentry with a focus on construction estimating or fixture installation preferred Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques relevant to furniture assembly Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate installations Experience working on construction sites or in restoration industries involving drywall finishing, plastering, or masonry is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the installation process Familiarity with water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus but not required Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to on-site changes or unforeseen challenges Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred for travel between job sites Join us as an Office Furniture Installer where your craftsmanship will help create inspiring work environments!
