Our company mission is to make beautiful furniture while constantly reducing our environmental footprint by using planet friendly materials and processes. We currently have openings for Packers in our Guntown, MS location.
Summary:
• Receives finished product from quality control inspector, and applies appropriate wrap, and places on the conveyor to send to shipping department.
What you will be doing:
Receives each piece of furniture after completely inspected by Quality Control Inspector and approved for packing and shipping to customer. Packs furniture using supplies furnished, depending upon style of furniture. May work alone or with team member, depending on the upholstery line employee is assigned to. Applies cardboard to ends of furniture. Apply suspensions to cardboard to certain styles, specified by supervisor. Wraps furniture in plastic wrap or bubble wrap, depending upon the style. Uses tape gun to secure wrap onto furniture. Ensures that all necessary supplies (cardboard, suspensions, tape, etc.) are used and applied correctly. Lift piece of furniture (chair, sofa, loveseat, sofa bed, ottoman) to buggy or roller, and transport to conveyor. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Knowledge about assembly line type environment Ability to work alone or as a team with a co-worker. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to submit to a Drug test and background investigation
