Finishing Specialist /Woodshop Technician About Us We are a growing business specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-quality Personalized Souvenirs. Our products are showcased on custom-built retail display fixtures, and we take pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and clean, professional finishes. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Woodshop Technician with a strong focus on painting, staining, and finishing . This role prioritizes producing high-quality finishes on our display fixtures, with additional responsibilities in woodworking, and cross-training in laser engraving and shipping/receiving. The ideal candidate has experience with spray finishes, takes pride in consistent, clean results, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities Primary Focus:

Finishing Apply stains, paints, and spray finishes with consistency and high-quality results Sand, prep, and finish wood surfaces to a professional standard Maintain finishing equipment and ensure proper material handling

Secondary:

Woodworking Build and assemble wooden display fixtures from plans and specifications Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, sanders, and pocket hole/joinery tools Additional Responsibilities (Cross-Training) Assist with laser engraving (training provided) Support shipping and receiving, including packaging and inventory handling Maintain a clean and organized workspace Qualifications Experience with painting, staining, and spray finishing is required Woodworking or carpentry experience preferred Comfortable operating shop tools such as table saws and pocket hole systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and work independently Willingness to learn new skills (laser engraving, shop processes, etc.) Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a shop environment (dust, noise, finishing materials, etc.) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Opportunities for growth and skill development Flexible scheduling (if applicable) Positive, hands-on work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief description of your experience.
