Job Description

The painter will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of interior and exterior painted or treated wall and ceiling surfaces, in a manner that preserves the five-star appearance of the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Painting & caulking Preparing walls and surfaces for painting, including sanding, pressure washing, and cleaning agent applications Minor sheetrock installation, patching and repair Light to minimal furniture restoration, i.e., sanding, staining, treating, and finishing Minor wall treatment repair, i.e., wallpaper border repair, wallpaper seam repair and patching Mold and mildew abatement and treatment Maintaining current supply inventories, as well as, paint color, texture, and finish schedules Some general maintenance Ensuring a clean and safe work environment during and after final completion of work. Performs other duties as assigned Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular and consistent attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
Must have 4 years of professional painting experience, or equivalent. High School or equivalent diploma required. Must possess and maintain a current TN Driver's License
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate clearly with management, team members, and guests in an informative and consistent manner.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Knowledge and understanding of basic math.
REASONING ABILITY
Ensure all interior and exterior building surfaces are orderly, meticulous and five-star in appearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of temperature or weather. May be required to work long hours. Must be able to safely operate a golf cart, and/ or company vehicle.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will primarily be assigned for locations within the property, including all interior and exterior portions of all buildings, common areas, grounds, and trails, but work location can vary and can incorporate any area of the property locations.
