We are currently seeking an experienced Furniture Installer to work on-site in our clients homes to install and assemble high-end Italian furniture according to company standards and directives. This role is will be working directly with and under the direction of the Lead Furniture Installer. Daily travel to various install sites will be required as needed; candidates should be comfortable driving throughout the New York City Metropolitan area, including but not limited to all five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Meet delivery team at the install site
  • Thoroughly read through the specified instructions and elevations provided, plan and execute daily workflow accordingly
  • Proactively communicate install site conditions and concerns that may affect, or are affecting the completion of a project with the appropriate office based team member(s)
  • Make on-site adjustments to products as needed (i.e. cutting panels to size)
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Complete service calls on previously completed projects (replacing parts, making adjustments on wall beds, cabinets, tables, and other touch-ups as needed)
  • Adherence to safety measures, standards, and practices Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience installing high-end and customized furniture, with experience sizing and cutting high-end melamine and lacquer
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Expert skill in using a variety of power tools
  • Physical ability to lift and transport extremely heavy furniture components; stand, squat, kneel for extended periods; access and mobility in tight spaces
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
  • Knowledge of CAD illustrations
  • Flexibility to manage changing priorities, short deadlines, and multiple tasks
  • Client service oriented mindset
  • Superior attention to detail, judgement, and communication skills The Furniture Installer will receive a comprehensive compensation and benefit package The starting rate for this role is $25.00 per hour Benefits include:
