Write your own route with AIT As an independent contractor in AIT Worldwide Logistics' expanding Final Mile Service Provider Network, you choose the work that fits your skills and equipment—and get paid weekly. Earn $40,000-$100,000+ annually (based on location and the jobs you accept). Weekly settlements. A day in the life Start your morning reviewing nearby orders in Syracuse and the surrounding area. Maybe it's a portable basketball hoop install in the suburbs, a treadmill assembly downtown, or a repair visit using manufacturer‑provided parts. You decide what to take. Load up, arrive on time, assemble to spec, and deliver a great customer experience. In the busy season, you'll also see furniture, backyard items, and other home goods ready for white‑glove delivery and setup. High‑demand work right now Basketball hoop installations (portable and in‑ground) Fitness equipment assembly and repair (treadmills, ellipticals, and similar) Ready‑to‑assemble furniture and home goods Backyard products: playsets, pergolas, gazebos, grills, patio sets, and more Service types you can accept Assembly Only — One‑person job. Arrive at the customer's home and assemble on site to manufacturer specifications. Delivery + Assembly — Two‑person job. Pick up at a local retailer, deliver to the home, and assemble per manufacturer guidelines. Repair — One‑person job. Visit the customer and complete repairs using manufacturer instructions and provided parts. What you bring Two‑person contractor team for most delivery + assembly work (Driver + Helper) Owned or leased pickup, cargo van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly‑only and repair work) EIN and DOT compliance (MC# required for select interstate work) Certificate of Insurance meeting AIT requirements Requirements Valid driver's license with clean MVR Physical capability and proven skill to deliver and assemble products to manufacturer specifications Comfort with mobile apps to manage and complete orders Ability to provide and maintain your own tools and vehicle(s) EIN required Compliance with vehicle, registration, and insurance standards set by AIT Screening AIT conducts background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.
