Home Staging Assistant Position Summary:
The Home Staging Assistant supports the staging team in preparing residential properties for sale. This role involves organizing furniture and décor, assisting with installations, maintaining inventory, and helping create attractive spaces that appeal to potential buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting artwork, accessories, and staging materials. Set up and arrange furniture and décor according to staging plans. Help style rooms to highlight a property's best features. Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards at staging sites. Pack, label, and organize inventory in the warehouse. Conduct inventory counts and report damaged or missing items. Assist with staging installations and removals. Coordinate with team members to meet project timelines. Perform light administrative tasks, including scheduling and inventory tracking. Ensure safe handling of furniture and staging materials.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in home staging, interior design, retail merchandising, moving services, or related fields is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move furniture and boxes (up to 30 lbs). Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Must clear background check and possible drug testing.
Preferred Skills:
Interest in interior design and home décor. Basic knowledge of furniture styles and design trends. Experience using inventory software or spreadsheets. Photography or social media experience is a plus.
Work Environment:
Combination of warehouse, residential properties, and occasional office work. Flexible schedule with some evening or weekend work as needed. Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and moving packed items
Compensation:
Hourly pay: typically $25-$30 per hour in the Seattle/Redmond area, depending on experience. Mileage reimbursement offered. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interior design, creating beautiful spaces, and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
