$35.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses. Bonus details will be discussed during the final stage of the hiring process. Job Overview DG Home Luxury Staging is seeking an experienced Lead Home Stager who can independently manage staging projects from the initial client consultation through installation, destaging, and completion. This is not a traditional interior design position. Only applicants with a minimum of three years of professional home staging experience will be considered. The ideal candidate is highly organized, decisive, professional, flexible, and capable of taking full ownership of projects without requiring constant direction or supervision. Responsibilities Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners, real estate agents, and other clients Evaluate properties and recommend effective staging plans Create mood boards, furniture layouts, and staging concepts Select furniture, artwork, accessories, and décor from company inventory Manage projects from consultation through installation, destaging, and completion Coordinate schedules, inventory, deliveries, installations, and project logistics Lead and manage movers, installers, and other team members on-site Clearly communicate project plans and expectations to the installation team Style properties according to DG Home Luxury Staging standards Manage inventory through the company's inventory-management platform Perform in-person inventory checks as needed Double-check that selected items are available, clean, undamaged, and ready for installation Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrectly recorded inventory Coordinate or assist with cleaning, preparing, organizing, and properly storing staging inventory as needed Ensure returned inventory is accounted for, correctly stored, and updated in the system Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after each project Resolve design, inventory, scheduling, and installation issues independently Maintain organized project notes, photos, selections, and documentation Required Qualifications Minimum of three years of professional home staging experience Proven ability to manage staging projects from consultation through completion Strong furniture-placement, styling, space-planning, and inventory-selection skills Experience leading movers or installation crews Strong client communication and presentation skills Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and make confident decisions Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and changing schedules Flexible weekday availability based on project and business needs Ability to accommodate reasonable schedule changes and occasional last-minute adjustments Reliable transportation and the ability to travel independently throughout the Los Angeles area Ability to lift, clean, move, prepare, and style décor and smaller staging items as needed Comfortable using inventory-management platforms, email, shared calendars, Canva, and other digital tools Preferred Qualifications Experience staging luxury or high-end residential properties Knowledge of the Los Angeles real estate and home staging market Experience working with furniture inventory and warehouse teams Experience managing vendors, installers, or subcontractors Strong photography and visual-presentation skills Experience using Canva, Google Workspace, or similar business tools Important Applicants with interior design experience but no professional home staging background will not be considered.
