Overview Join our dynamic furniture retail environment at Coffman's as a Home Furnishings Specialist. The Home Furnishings Specialist Position requires the ability to guide a client through the purchasing process by offering design services and listening to the clients needs, and helping them design their furniture and choose fabrics, accessories, textures and colors that will create inspiring spaces for living. We are a brick and mortar retail environment located in Jackson Tennessee, that also offers in-home design services and space planning in order to provide the best possible sales experience for our clients' living spaces. We staff multiple Interior Designers and Sales professionals at our location in order to appropriately handle the number of requests presented through our brick and mortar and online channels. Previous training and experience in Interior Design is a plus or the willingness to be trained and attend classes while you work. Previous experience in a home furnishings retail environment are also a huge plus, along with an enthusiastic, energetic attitude, a strong sales ability , and a good eye for current design. This position does require working Saturdays, and busy holiday weekends, on a rotational schedule. Our Designers also receive one other day off during the work week, making it a five-day work week. Since we are closed on Sundays. CANDIDATE'S NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to listen and understand our Customers' needs Ability to guide Customers towards their vision. Must enjoy working in fast-paced environment, with ability to help multiple clients simultaneously on busy days Excellent relational skills Ability to help clients via sketching space plans to scale Ability to present coordinated Interior Design plans to clients Passion for new trends, color, technology and home furnishings, and the ability to guide clients through the design process for their homes / businesses Ability to relate to clients with Excitement, Integrity, and Creativity Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff Completion of training requirements as necessary Previous home furnishings experience would be a plus Previous decor retail experience would be a plus A degree in Interior Design would be a plus Design experience preferably in the home furnishings field, would be a plus, Candidate must have a willingness to learn Ability to perform basic Math Comfortable with computers and technology Ability to work with a Team Ability to lift 25 LBS

FANTASTIC SCHEDULE

Five Day work week. Store Hours are Monday - Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM. Closed Sundays . Working Saturdays would be on a rotational Schedule.

Earning Potential:
