Responsibilities Safely transport furniture items to designated locations, handling each piece with care to prevent damage. Read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and placement. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble furniture components according to specifications. Install furniture securely, making adjustments for stability and alignment to meet quality standards. Conduct thorough inspections post-installation to verify proper setup and address any issues promptly. Communicate clearly with team members and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and installation details. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of packaging materials responsibly. Skills Proven experience in furniture assembly or installation, with a strong attention to detail. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing devices such as an ohmmeter when needed. Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy furniture pieces, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces. Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot installation challenges efficiently. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Knowledge of safety procedures related to tool use and physical work environments.
