GB Tech, Inc. has an immediate need for a Full-Time Office Space Design Specialist for our Logistics Contract. Position requires the use of office furniture design software (MicroStation). Project management is a vital component of this position with the need to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. General Duties and Responsibilities Consults with customer to determine furniture requirements and presents cost-effective solutions based on those needs. Prepares appropriate documentation to ensure timely task completion. Physically visits the customer's location in order to obtain measurements and other information pertinent to the design and layout of the furniture. Defining and/or reviewing furniture requirements for incorporation into proposal creation, order placement, and product receipt. Assist with furniture inventories for reconfigurations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. General Requirements Organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A consistent, systematic approach to design with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy. Experience with MicroStation preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite—specifically Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Experience in the areas of interior design, office workflow, government purchasing and office furniture systems. Preferable 1 to 3+ years of space planning or office interior design experience. Education Job requires High School diploma or
GED NASA
experience preferred, but not required. Environment Inside office environment. Average office noise levels. Personal protective Equipment required (safety shoes) when in warehouse.
