Job Title:
Stager in Training Intro The Staging Company is hiring a high‑potential Stager in Training for our Orlando location. This is a hands‑on, fast‑track role for someone with a strong design eye and critical thinking skills who wants a clear path into professional staging and design leadership. We operate with clear core values (Love, Trust & Excellence) and a two‑year career pipeline that moves team members from entry‑level staging into advanced roles like Design Coordinator or Independent Designer with strong income potential. Role Objectives In this role, you will: Support daily staging operations first as a Stager in Training, learning our Home Story MethodTM and project flow. Pull and load furniture and décor from the warehouse according to the design plan and buyer profile for each home. Travel with the team to install 1-3 stages per day, making in‑the‑moment decisions to solve layout, inventory, and timeline challenges on site. Capture quality before/after photos that support both your portfolio and our marketing efforts. Progress through our defined pipeline (Stager in Training → Stager Level 1 → Stager Level 2 → beyond) by demonstrating autonomy, quality, initiative, and leadership.
Qualifications Required:
Strong design instincts or foundation: degree, coursework, or portfolio demonstrating space planning, styling, and cohesive design. Evidence of critical thinking and problem‑solving in past work, school, or projects (not just tasks, but impact). You love to be active! You'll be on your feet, transforming houses with furniture, art, rugs & decor. Team‑oriented, reliable, and able to maintain professionalism and positive culture even on challenging days. Physically able to lift, carry, and move furniture and décor safely. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the warehouse.
Preferred:
Experience or exposure to home staging, interior decorating, or real estate. Comfort working in fast‑paced, changing environments with daily variety. Schedule & Compensation Full‑time, Monday-Friday, generally starting around 8:00 a.m. until that day's work is complete (no weekends). Stager in Training (first 90 days): hourly pay at our entry staging rate, with structured increases as you progress through Stager Levels 1 and 2 based on demonstrated mastery and autonomy.
