00 per hour | Full-Time Lead the Team. Set the Standard. CoronadoDC is seeking an experienced Office Furniture Installer / Crew Lead to join our San Antonio operation. We're looking for someone with strong modular systems-furniture installation experience who can lead a crew, read installation plans, troubleshoot field conditions, maintain high-quality standards, and communicate professionally with customers and project management. 00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Paid observed holidays Overtime opportunities Career advancement opportunities What You'll Do As a Lead Installer, you'll work alongside and lead our installation crew on furniture installation projects at VA facilities throughout the San Antonio area. Lead office furniture installation crews and coordinate daily field activities. Install and reconfigure systems furniture, modular furniture, cubicles, panel systems, casegoods, seating, conference furniture, and accessories. Read and interpret floor plans, installation drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications. Assign work and provide direction based on project requirements and installer experience. Train and mentor installers on proper installation techniques, safety, quality, and customer-service expectations. Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical field solutions. Inspect completed work and minimize punch-list items through proactive quality control. Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites and ensure proper use of PPE. Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, warehouse personnel, and other trades. Complete required work orders, timesheets, project photos, and installation documentation. Identify and report shortages, damages, missing materials, or project concerns. Operate company vehicles when required. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications At least three years of modular systems-furniture installation experience Previous experience leading crews, serving as a crew lead, or working as a senior installer Strong knowledge of commercial systems and modular furniture installation Ability to read and interpret floor plans and installation drawings Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to lead, train, and work effectively with an installation team Professional communication and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable under company insurance requirements Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position Preferred Qualifications Experience with major commercial furniture systems such as: Herman Miller Steelcase Haworth Knoll Allsteel Teknion Manufacturer certifications are a plus but are not required.
Additional preferred experience:
Healthcare, government, or VA projects OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Forklift certification CPR/First Aid certification Training and mentoring installers Leading commercial installation crews Schedule Monday through Friday Overtime may be available or required based on project needs Occasional weekend work may be required Primarily serves projects throughout the San Antonio Area Physical Requirements This is a hands-on installation position.
