About Us:
At Dannico Woodworks, we specialize in crafting innovative and durable Montessori-inspired children's furniture that promotes independence and enhances the aesthetics of kids' spaces. Our mission is to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their children are surrounded by safe, functional, and stylish furniture pieces. Each item is thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity and autonomy while prioritizing safety and durability. We are a small, family-owned business committed to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement.​
Key Responsibilities:
Woodworking Tasks:
Perform sanding, routing, and other woodworking tasks to prepare components for assembly and finishing.​
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and product quality.​
Equipment Maintenance:
Assist in the upkeep of tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.​
Shop Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.​
Qualifications:
Woodworking Experience:
Prior experience in woodworking is essential; formal carpentry training is not required.​ Attention to
Detail:
Ability to execute tasks with precision and care.​
Reliability:
Consistent punctuality and dependability are crucial.​
Problem-Solving Skills:
Aptitude for identifying and implementing process improvements.​
Physical Stamina:
Capability to lift and maneuver materials as necessary.​
Work Schedule:
Flexible Hours:
A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is required, with the option for additional hours based on preference and workload.​
