JOB TITLE
Millwork Technician
JOB LOCATION

KEY ACTIVITIES
The Millwork Technician produces and assembles millwork products by preparing materials, operating basic tools and equipment, maintaining organized work areas, and supporting daily shop operations under the guidance of experienced team members.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Assist with door assembly, staging, and basic production work Read simple work instructions and confirm materials before starting work Use basic hand tools and equipment according to training Keep work areas clean and ready for the next job Follow quality and safety standards on each assigned task Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn millwork production Ability to follow work instructions and ask questions when unclear Careful attention to measurements, parts, and product condition Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a production team
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior production, construction, warehouse, or woodworking experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally up to 100 pounds / heavier loads with assistance from mechanical aids or other team members Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and work with hands throughout the shift Work in shop, yard, warehouse, and outdoor conditions as assigned Use hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
