Furniture Repair Technician We are seeking an experienced Furniture Repair Technician to inspect, repair, and restore furniture to meet quality and delivery standards. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in woodworking, furniture restoration, cabinet making, or carpentry who take pride in producing high-quality finished products. Furniture Repair Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position $25.00 to $27.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:30am to 03:30pm) Inspect, repair, and restore damaged furniture. Perform wood repairs including sanding, filling, staining, and color blending. Repair scratches, dents, chips, and cosmetic damage using touch-up products, markers, crayons, fillers, and epoxies. Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, sanders, and woodworking equipment safely and effectively. Complete inbound inspections of returned furniture. Match wood finishes and blend repairs to create a seamless appearance. Replace or repair furniture components as needed.
Furniture Repair Technician Qualifications:
Previous experience in furniture repair, woodworking, cabinet making, carpentry, or a related trade is required. Strong woodworking, finishing, and color-matching skills. Experience using power tools, hand tools, furniture repair markers, crayons, fillers, stains, and epoxies. Ability to identify defects and determine the appropriate repair method. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance or proper equipment.
