We're looking for a hard-working, dependable Shop Helper with an interest in diesel mechanics to support our shop staff. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying busy, and being part of a team-oriented environment. No advanced mechanical experience required. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of our shop and lot. Assist with cleaning trucks, parts, and work areas. Apply slip plate and assist with basic surface preparation. Pick up and deliver parts and supplies from vendors. Dispose of waste, fluids, and scrap materials properly. Assist technicians with simple shop tasks as needed. Follow safety procedures and shop policies at all times. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks. Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not required. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a truck shop, automotive shop, or industrial environment. Familiarity with shop tools and safety practices.
