Madison, WI Job Details Temporary | Part-time From $17 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Customer service High school diploma or GED Power tools Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Complete Office of Wisconsin is looking for a Part-Time/Seasonal Furniture Installer to assist with the delivery, assembly, installation, and setup of furniture for residential or commercial customers during peak seasonal periods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to providing excellent customer service while working efficiently in a team environment.Schedule:
Part-Time; flexible hours and hours may vary anywhere from 8 to 10 hour days Duties/Responsibilities- Load, unload, and move furniture and materials safely at job sites
- Unbox furniture in designated areas of jobsite and remove trash and cardboard
- Install, assemble, and reconfigure commercial furniture systems (workstations, panels, casegoods, seating, etc.)
- Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect product prior to and during installation
- Maintain a clean and organized job site during and after installation
- Follow all safety guidelines and use proper tools and PPE
- Represent the company professionally while working at customer locations
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 100lbs.
Education/Experience:
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in commercial furniture installation or construction preferred
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Time management and ability to meet project deadlines
- Problem-solving skills in field environments
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to multi-task and interact with co-workers, customers, etc.
