Job Description
We are seeking Commercial Office System Installers to join Office Furniture Warehouse in Waukesha, WI to build and transform office environments. You'll assemble, install, and reconfigure cubicles, workstations, and modular furniture systems from Steelcase and Herman Miller to other modular systems to create functional and inspiring spaces for commercial/businesses, schools, healthcare organizations and more.

Responsibilities:
Install and assemble Steelcase, Herman Miller, and other modular office systems. Measure accurately to ensure perfect fit and professional installation. Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and layout drawings. Unbox, inspect, and stage furniture and materials for installation. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Apply mechanical knowledge to ensure proper and secure assembly. Modify furniture components to fit custom layouts or design requirements. Apply basic electrical knowledge for workstation power connections and cable management. Perform light carpentry and furniture adjustments when needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Collaborate with team members and project leads to complete installations efficiently and accurately. Assist with commercial relocations, deliveries, and staging activities by safely operating tools, dollies, and other equipment to handle and transport products in accordance with company safety and quality standards.Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements. Mechanical and basic electrical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical work safely. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Experience with operating a Box/Straight truck is desired. Dependable, professional, and a strong team player with attention to detail. Experience with modular office systems desired but not required.Pay:
$22.00- $35.
