\n\nKey duties include:

\n \n\n

• Operating fabricating machinery such as brakes, rolls, shears, lasers, punches, saws, and presses to cut, form, and shape metal or fiberglass materials.\n \n\n
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine proper setup, production methods, and operational sequence.\n \n\n
• Selecting, positioning, and securing dies, fixtures, and other machine components using measurement tools and shop equipment.\n \n\n
• Monitoring machine operation and adjusting settings, dies, or workpiece positioning as needed for multiple or successive passes.\n \n\n
• Inspecting finished work using gauges, rulers, calipers, micrometers, and templates to ensure all products meet quality standards.\n \n\n
• Manually or mechanically lifting workpieces and securing them in machine fixtures.\n \n\n
• Controlling machine feeds, speeds, tool depth, and bending parameters.\n \n\n
• Producing work within established routed times to support department efficiency and equipment utilization.\n\nEducation, Experience & Skills Required\n \n\n
• High School Diploma or GED required\n \n\n
• Vocational or technical training may be considered in place of experience\n \n\n
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend work instructions\n \n\n
• Basic computer literacy\n \n\n
• Drug Screen and Physical are required\n \n\n
• Experience using measuring equipment and reading blueprints\/schematics\n \n\n
• General knowledge in one or more of the following is preferred:\n + Mechanical systems\n + Manufacturing \/ production processes\n\nJob level may be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
