Requires ability to work from a blueprint, MOT, sketch sheet and or verbal instructions. Uses shop math. Must be able to accurately select appropriate grinding wheels, machine speeds and feeds. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) Use of common inspection equipment up to but not limited to air gages, dial bores, micrometers, indicators, calipers, and various layout tools May be required to operate other various grinding equipment Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as drawings, blueprints, and production schedules. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals or groups of customers or employees. Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Proficiency in the use of MSWord, MS Excel, E-mail, MSOffice and Internet are required. Education and Experience HS Diploma or GED. 5 plus years in ID grind experience
