Job Description

MLC Services is seeking an experienced Finish Blade / Universal Operator to join our team. This position is focused on site development and requires an operator who can perform finish grading operations with precision while working independently and as part of a field crew.
Responsibilities:
Perform finish blade operations on commercial, civil, and site development projects Operate grading equipment and Gannon attachments for subgrade and finish grade work Read and interpret construction plans, detail sheets, grade stakes, and site layouts Establish and maintain grade tolerances and project specifications Coordinate with supervisors and crews to maintain production and quality standards Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain safe operating practices
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of dirt work / site development experience Proven experience performing subgrade and finish grade Ability to finish blade and operate Gannon equipment Strong understanding of grade control, stakes, and construction layouts Ability to read and interpret plans and detail sheets Current OSHA 10 Certification Current MSHA Part 48 Certification (preferred / required depending on project assignment) Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Arizona as needed
Preferred Experience:
GPS machine control experience Blue Stake utility awareness and excavation practices Trimble grade control systems Heavy civil, mining, and commercial site development experience
Pay:
$28.00 - $36.00 per hour
