Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities SUMMARY This occupation requires the set up and operation of triple acting hydro press with some assistance provided by supervisor or lead. To fabricate sheet metal detail parts of light gauge material. Installing and removing dies and punches of various sizes and weight. This occupation includes lifting, bending, and considerable time standing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to perform setups and operate various sheet metal related equipment with some assistance. Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance. Responsible for checking all operations from material gauge and type through final forming. Read and interpret blueprints and travelers. Knowledge of material types Fabricate parts to dimensional tolerances as required by engineering drawings. Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work. Deburring and finishing work. Perform all other duties as assigned or directed. This role is required to be on-site 4 days at the El Cajon, CA location. Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired. Must have strong basic fabrication background. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and travelers. Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press and/or punch operations including basic set up is desired. Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurements tools. Demonstrated competency in basic shop math. Ability to pass examination which qualifies you for certification in Industrial Truck Safety (forklift training) as required by CCR Title 8 Section 3668. Able to use 90 degrees grinders, osilators, files, body grinders, die grinders, and degreasing. Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge. This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In order to comply with these laws, employment is contingent upon verifying your status as a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, or obtaining any required government authorization. Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $25-30. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
