The Company offers a wide range of critical components and engineered solutions that connect, protect, and purify our world. description The Utility Operator is responsible for successful operation of the finishing production of the parts on the production floor.

Primary Responsibilities:

Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations.

Cleans parts using a variety of techniques required to meet customer specifications

Deburrs, polishes and identify parts

Mount parts on revolving spindle or chuck and hold or move tools such as a file, abrasive stone or cloth against work piece

Use drill presses, notchers and sanders

Clean interior surfaces of holes in tubes

Develop, monitor, and maintain input reports, production reports

Check quality at start of shift and ensure quality of all products throughout shift.

Must be able to use measuring tools to meet specifications

Ability to read basic blueprints

Package product and assemble kits for shipping

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Attention to detail;

Willingness to learn;

Team oriented;

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions;

Communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Up to six months related experience or a combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee must: Be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds; Regularly required to use hands and stand for longs periods of time. The hourly rate for this position is $18.72 per hour.
