In this energetic role, you will be responsible for deburring, honing, and finishing machined parts to meet strict specifications, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us deliver top-tier components to our clients, supporting our mission to manufacture with precision and efficiency. Duties Operate deburring machines, honing tools, and hand tools to smooth and refine machined parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions against blueprints and technical drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to accurately perform finishing tasks. Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment within the manufacturing facility. Perform routine inspections on parts using quality control tools; document findings accurately for process improvement. Assist with fabrication tasks such as welding or working on press brake machines when required, supporting overall assembly line operations. Qualifications Proven factory or manufacturing experience with a focus on machining, fabrication, or finishing processes. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with precision; experience with GD&T is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of materials handling equipment like forklifts; certification is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances. Familiarity with quality control procedures within a manufacturing environment; factory experience preferred. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail; welding experience is advantageous.
