  • 11:30pm) (Training on 1st shift M-F for the first couple weeks of training then move to 2nd shift) Tuesday

  • Sunday (overtime required during the week and weekend when needed)

$21.00

DOE POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking a detail-oriented I.D. Grinder to operate conventional grinding equipment for internal diameter (I.D.) grinding of aerospace landing gear components. The role requires precision measurement, blueprint reading, and strict adherence to quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Set up and operate conventional I.D. grinders Perform internal diameter grinding to tight tolerances Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work orders Measure internal dimensions using bore gauges and precision tools Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds, and depth of cut Monitor grinding processes and make adjustments as needed Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping Complete required job and inspection documentation Follow all safety and quality requirements
QUALIFICATIONS U.S.
Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (ITAR) High school diploma or GED 2-5 years of experience with conventional I.D. grinding Strong understanding of aerospace grinding processes Blueprint and technical documentation reading skills Proficiency with precision measuring instruments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Aerospace MRO experience Experience with manual mills or lathes
Pay:
Up to $30.00 per hour
